Chelsea announce Carlo Ancelotti as their new 'Messia' (Video)

Carlo Ancelotti has been announced today as the new Chelsea coach with a reported three years contract at 8 Mil Euros per year. Rumours spread out last night that Real Madrid tried a last ditch attempt to divert the 1994 FIFA World Cup Runners-up Italy assistant coach, 2007 FIFA Club World Cup Champions AC Milan coach and four times Champions League winner always with AC Milan as a player in 1989 and 1990 and then as a coach 2003 and 2007, but with no avail. Carlo was announced this morning as Chelsea new coach. Well done Roman.

Carlo Ancelotti was also part as a player in that fabled Italy side bronze medal at the 1990 FIFA World Cup for whom he also played 26 times. He started his coaching career reaching Serie A promotion with AC Reggiana and then moved next door to that Parma side that conquered the UEFA Cup in 1995.

Called to mana! ge Juventus - before moving to AC Milan - he memorably showed Sir Alex Ferguson's Man United that scraped a 1-1 draw at the Old Trafford Champions League semi-final first leg - a lesson of football in the year 1999 that saw Manchester United become eventually European Champions.
